Project Manager – R&D

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a R&D Project Manager for a Medical Device Client based in Galway. Previous experience working as a Project Manager in Medical Devices will be essential! This is a Permanent Position with Hybrid Working Available.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Align: Develop detailed project plans with key milestones, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with functional KPIs and organizational objectives.
• Track & Manage: Use project management tools to monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Execute & Deliver: Oversee daily and weekly project activities, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of key work packages along the critical path.
• Analyse & Improve: Regularly review project status, identify bottlenecks, explore alternative paths to optimize timelines, and enhance PM tools and techniques.

About You

Experience and Qualifications:
This role offers a hybrid remote arrangement in Ireland requiring attendance at the Galway office. A background in R&D in a Medical Device Start Up would be a plus! Minimum of 3+ years experience working as a Project Manager in the Medical Device Industry. PMP Certification.
