Project Manager, Engineering/Teleco

About the Opportunity

DesignBuild Search is currently working with a leader in the Telecommunications sector to fill the position of Project Manager at their Kilkenny office due to company growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the delivery of FTTH Network Planning and Design projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce project plans and resource requirement forecasts
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently
• Produce process and work instruction documentation
• Maintain risk register and mitigation plan
• Provide project cost estimates and manage DFEs
• Manage milestone achievement and report variances
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports
• Assist in implementing a Workflow Management System
• Identify initiatives for performance improvement
• Ensure project activities comply with company policies

About You

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in an engineering discipline
• Project Management qualification and experience
• Experience in managing large projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in Planning and Designing Telco Networks
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven approach
• Strong problem-solving capability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes and unexpected events
