Course Fees & Payment Plans
- Course fees must be received in full at least two weeks prior to the course commencement date.
- Payment Plans: Available only for Diploma programmes, structured as follows:
- 50% of the fee payable at least two weeks prior to course commencement.
- 50% of the fee payable no later than 60 days from the course commencement date.
- Payment plan requests must be submitted in writing to info@projectmanagement.ie and will be reviewed individually.
- Failure to meet the payment schedule results in immediate withdrawal from the programme, with access to all facilities revoked.
- Students will not be permitted to sit the examinationand/orget the course completion certificatesuntil full payment has been received. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Course Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancellations are permitted only if the request is made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled start date of the course.
- If a cancellation request is received less than fourteen (14) days before the course start date, no refund will be issued.Example: If a course starts on the 15th of a month, a cancellation request must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the 1st of that month to be eligible for a refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval.
- Course fees are non-refundable, once a student has commenced the programme, no refunds will be issued,except under extenuating circumstances at the discretion of IPM.
- Refunds, if applicable, will only be made payable to the original payer.
- Students who wish to transfer to a different course or change their course format (e.g., from a CAMPUS course to an ONLINE course, or from a DAYTIME session to an EVENING session) must request the change at least fourteen (14) days before the scheduled course start date.
- Transfers are subject to availability and approval by IPM.
- If the new course has a higher fee, the student must pay the difference before the transfer is confirmed. If the new course has a lower fee, no refund or credit will be issued.
- Transfer requests less than fourteen (14) days before the course start date may not be accommodated or may incur an additional administrative fee.
Deferral or Resit Applications
- Students are expected to complete the course and sit the exam on their original registration date.
- Deferrals & Resits must be requested in writing via courses@projectmanagement.ie and are granted at IPM’s discretion.
- The full course fee must be paid before a request is considered.
- Fees:
- First deferral (course or exam) / First resit: €175
- Second deferral, second resit, or further requests: €275
- Students who do not complete or resit their assessments within two years of their original enrollment must re-enroll at full course fees.
Deferral or Resit Acceptance Criteria
Requests will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Medical reasons: Requires a medical certificate from a registered practitioner.
- Family bereavement: Requires a death notice.
- Other personal circumstances: Requires independently verifiable documentation.
The following will not be accepted as valid reasons for deferral:
- Pre-planned holidays or events.
- Weddings or engagements.
- Lack of clarity on course dates.
- Poor time management.
- Technical difficulties due to lack of preparation.
- Work or study conflicts.
Requests not meeting the acceptance criteria will be charged a deferral fee as per the number of applications submitted.
Course Extension Requests
- Students may extend access to course materials for 30 additional days by paying a €100 administrative fee.
- Requests must be submitted via courses@projectmanagement.ie.
Special Educational Needs
- IPM provides reasonable accommodations for students with special educational needs.
- Requests must be submitted at least 14 days before course commencement via info@projectmanagement.ie.
- Needs assessments determine the level of support provided.
- Examination accommodation may include extra time (10, 15, or 20 minutes per hour).
Assessment Confidentiality and Liability
- IPM does not disclose the identities of assessors or examiners under any circumstances.
- Students cannot request or demand access to this information, regardless of their assessment or exam results. Additionally, IPM holds no liability for any consequences arising from a student's performance in assessments, exams, or course completion.
- All grading and assessment decisions are final and made in accordance with IPM’s academic policies.
Publish Your Writing Programme
- IPM welcomes anyone to submit content and materials through Publish Your Writing submission programme.
- Contributions may be viewable by all users of IPM’s website and other third-party platforms such as social media, email marketing, etc.
- IPM holdno obligation to get your article published on any IPM platform.
- By submitting any contributions, you thereby represent and warrant that: the creation, distribution, transmission, public display, accessing, downloading, or copying of your work do not and will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or moral rights of any third party..
- By submitting your work to IPM, you acknowledge and agree that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other information regarding the content you provide is non-confidential and shall become our sole property. We shall be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of these submissions for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgement or compensation to you.
- You hereby waive all moral rights to any such submissions and warrant that any content submitted is original to you or that you have the right to submit such submissions. You agree there shall be no recourse against IPM for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation of proprietary rights in your submissions.
- Content submitted will only be published if it passes the review process.
- If the article gets published on our website, we will send a notification to the email information submitted in the website’s form containing a link to the article.
- We are authorised to use the profile picture and short biographysubmitted for article publication purposes.
General Terms
- All requests regarding cancellations, deferrals, resits, or transfers must be made in writing via email.
- No-shows or students who fail to attend without prior notice are not eligible for refunds or transfers.
- IPM reserves the right to amend these terms at its discretion.
