Senior Project Manager (Global Technology)

About the Opportunity

Barden is thrilled to have partnered with the Program Manager of a global Irish tech company to identify a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This role entails support on the delivery of a major transformation program across their Irish and UK businesses. This is a daily rate contract role of six months to begin with the opportunity to extend or potentially convert to permanent depending on preference. Daily rate DOE is up to €650.

A successful person will bring a rich and varied industry background, with a strong focus on the IT sector. They will be passionate about embedding structure, governance, and best practices across projects. This role offers the opportunity to innovate with advanced project management techniques and play a key role in a multi-jurisdictional program. The successful person will work closely with stakeholders and benefit from the support of an experienced team of Program and Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects with a strong focus on transformational change, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Use project management tools such as Jira to monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and drive the execution of transformation objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with broader business transformation goals.
• Apply best practices in project management, advanced methodologies, and robust governance frameworks to ensure successful project outcomes.

About You

• At least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in IT or related industries, with a proven track record of leading transformational projects.
• Skilled in project management tools and methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to deliver complex transformation programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization to drive meaningful results.
• Experience in procurement or cybersecurity projects is advantageous but not essential.
• A consistent record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Note: This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, with an expectation of two days per week in the office.
