Responsibilities

  • Ensure that plans are maintained to enable expected delivery
  • Maintain project progress and initiate corrective action where necessary
  • Create and execute project plans – to revise appropriately to meet changing needs/requirements
  • Monitor and report on progress against plan, risks and budget to Program Leader
  • Ensure regular project progress - reporting meetings with project staff
  • Manage multi-stream projects through full SDLC
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and manage stakeholder engagements
  • Manage budgets and resources for the team
  • Apply an Agile methodology appropriately to enforce project standards
  • Influence and contribute to the implementation of good agile and project management practices
  • Manage the implementation of good governance practices, including ISO standards
  • Collaborate with business partners to transform ideas into backlog items, maintain a continuous work pipeline, and manage a cross-functional delivery roadmap

About You

You have 8+ years of project management experience - managing medium to high complexity projects. You will be PRINCE 2/PMP certified with extensive understanding of these methodologies. You have experience delivering projects in Agile environments. You have exposure to Cloud-based development projects. You have practical experience of using Jira, Workday Projects, and Power BI. You have strong analytical skills, with a logical and structured mindset. You have decision-making ability and proven leadership skills. You have strong interpersonal, communications, and influencing skills. You have delivery experience within the software industry, with a focus on quality and knowledge of existing/emerging technologies. You understand software development from conception of initial requirements through to delivery, maintenance, and support. You may have practical experience of AI (or more specifically GenAI), data science, and cloud technologies.
