As a Project Director at WSP in the PMCM Rail team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of rail projects of regional, national, and international significance.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering on specific large complex projects or programmes
  • Implementing governance frameworks, controls, and reporting mechanisms
  • Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
  • Accountable for contract and budget management
  • Driving safety performance and compliance
  • Facilitating project/programme planning and reviews
  • Driving innovative solutions and efficiency

About You

You should demonstrate a degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline, experience in project/programme management, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities. Chartered membership of a relevant professional body and certifications in project management are advantageous.

Eligibility

Experience working in a senior management role on significant projects, especially in the rail sector, is preferred. Familiarity with organizations like Network Rail, HS2, and TfGM is advantageous. Working knowledge of managing NEC 3/4 contracts is required.
