Responsibilities
- Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project
- Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health, and environment issues
- Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems
- Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
- Advising upon the procurement of resources
- Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
- Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
- Managing the change control process
- Monitoring and advising upon project finances
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client
- Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants
About You
- Maintain own learning & development plan, keeping it up to date
- Develop own professional competency level to agreed targets
- Attend all training courses as identified in your L&D plan
- Coach/mentor junior staff as directed/agreed in their L&D plans
- Ensure personal CVs are updated regularly and posted to People Pages
- Participate in the CR volunteering day
Eligibility
Essential:
- Degree in engineering, construction management, or an equivalent technical qualification
- Buildings/Real Estate sector experience
- Minimum 7 years Project Management experience
- Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Recognised Project Management Qualification
- Membership or chartership of a recognised professional industry body, such as RICS/CIOB
