About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Project Manager to join a multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in infrastructure, energy, and environmental services. With offices across Ireland, this Cork-based position will allow the successful candidate become part of a well-established and growing company, with the opportunity to expand their skills and gain experience across a diverse portfolio of projects. These include waste management infrastructure developments, public realm, urban development schemes, and renewable energy projects. Responsibilities

  • Leading civil and environmental design team to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the development of both senior and junior staff.
  • Preparing high-standard technical reports and tender documentation.
  • Planning and managing design activities in close collaboration with Project Directors.
  • Ensuring all work complies with internal quality assurance processes and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating effectively with other team members across disciplines.
  • Managing client relationships and maintaining clear, consistent project communications.

About You

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ post-graduate experience in design and project management.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Strong experience in engaging with clients, external stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
  • Proficient in developing and managing project budgets.
  • Energetic and driven professional with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Adaptable and collaborative, with a strong team-oriented approach.
