Project Manager (Eur 65k onwards + bonus)

About the Opportunity

This role involves managing the full delivery of HV substation projects in Ireland, ensuring compliance with EirGrid/ESB Networks requirements and Irish grid code standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of turnkey AIS/GIS substation projects
• Manage project delivery from design to commissioning and energisation
• Engage with stakeholders such as EirGrid, ESB Networks, and local authorities
• Oversee procurement of HV equipment and ensure technical compliance
• Plan and execute testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Manage technical risks, scope changes, and cost control
• Act as key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies

About You

Requirements for this role include:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HV project delivery
• Understanding of power system studies and electrical design processes
• Familiarity with Irish Grid Code and technical standards
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Experience with project planning tools and reporting processes
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel
• Project management certification is a plus
