Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors
• Health and Safety:
  • Ensure that the works are delivered safely in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Ensure contractors execute works as per approved method statement & risk assessment
  • Give daily site briefings to the workforce
  • Maintain highest standards of housekeeping
  • Report all safety incidents and accidents
• Technical/Quality:
  • Supervise site engineering resource
  • Ensure project delivery to client satisfaction
  • Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders
  • Manage unexpected technical difficulties
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and drawing requirements
• Management:
  • Act as first point of contact on site for client liaison
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, planners, etc.
  • Monitor progress against Contract Programme
  • Assist in production and revision of contract programmes
  • Manage requisition process for materials and plant

About You

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Qualification ideally in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years experience in Construction Management
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in IT skills and Innovation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to build strong relationships and work well in a team-based environment
