About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading Construction & Property consultancy, is seeking a strong Associate Director – Project Manager to join their Dublin team. This is a client-facing role where you’ll be the key liaison between the consultancy and the main contractor on a landmark, live-environment development project.
Responsibilities
- Act as the project lead and interface between the consultancy team, the client, and the Tier 1 main contractor.
- Oversee delivery of construction works in live, operational environments, ensuring minimal disruption. - independent project but on live grounds
- Lead all stages of the project lifecycle – from planning and procurement to execution and handover.
- Provide technical and strategic advice to the client while managing programme, cost, and quality metrics.
- Manage stakeholder communications and reporting – internally and externally.
- Ensure that contractor coordination, health and safety, and compliance processes are executed to the highest standard.
- Lead site walks, design team meetings, and progress reviews, ensuring issues are resolved proactively.
- Support the wider consultancy team in resource planning, team development, and business growth initiatives.
About You
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience, with a background in Tier 1 main contracting and recent roles in consultancy or client-side project management.
- Experience delivering projects in live environments – such as airports, hospitals, large commercial settings, or data centres.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. GCCC, JCT, or similar).
- Strong client management and reporting skills.
- Capable of leading multidisciplinary teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and confident under pressure.
