Junior Electrical Project Manager

About the Opportunity

Our client is a highly regarded Irish mechanical and electrical contractor with a turnover of circa €70 million. Operating across Ireland, they deliver high-spec building services solutions across commercial, corporate, and mixed-use projects. Known for their technical excellence and commitment to quality, they have delivered complex M&E installations for major global clients, including numerous multinational offices in Dublin’s city centre. Much of their work is repeat business, reflecting strong relationships with multinationals, developers, and design teams. They are looking to add an engineer/supervisor to their team with a view to becoming a Project Manager. The role will involve working closely with the Project Manager in all aspects of running a job.

Responsibilities

• Develop a daily action plan that includes HSEQ
• Assist Project team in expediting of major equipment deliveries
• Maintain a site diary
• Attend/Chair internal meetings with sub-contractors
• Ensure that all variations are picked up in conjunction with PM and QS
• Ensure labour allocation sheets are being completed by sub-contractors

About You

Candidates will hold a construction or electrical engineering related degree or come from a trade background. You will have experience working in a building services role for an M&E contractor, Main Contractor, or an M&E Consultancy. A good knowledge of electrical services is required for this role.

Eligibility

The salary for this role starts at €60K. There is a benefits package that includes pension, performance-related bonus, etc. The main attraction to this role is a fast track route to becoming a project manager; the company has a track record in taking on engineers/supervisors with potential and developing them into project managers.
