The aim of the Business Development department is to optimize the efficient interaction of people, processes, and technology & build a pipeline of external Strategic Partners that support the Lidl brand and drive profit.
Responsibilities
- Project management of key strategic national and international projects from concept to deployment in consultation with the Project Management Office
- Execution of all projects within agreed timelines, combining the highest quality with the best possible value
- Management of all key stakeholders both internal and external to ensure long term project success
- Management of project packages into daily business
- Monitoring and reporting on all relevant project and department KPIs
- Completion of regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure awareness of the latest trends, technologies, and opportunities that will support long term, sustainable business growth aligned to Lidl’s brand and core values
- Identification of opportunities for improvement in existing department processes and work practices
About You
- Minimum 3 years project management experience
- Third level qualification desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently but also part of a team
- Innovative & adaptable
- Able to work under pressure and within tight timelines
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, takes initiative
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multi-task
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in online strategies, such as SEO, UX design, and digital marketing, is advantageous
- Full driving licence essential
