IT Project Manager

About the Opportunity

My client, a global company based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of 2 strategic IT enabled projects impacting multiple business functions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ERP delivery, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be required to be onsite 2-3 days a week in West Cork.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning - defining scope, deliverables, activities, and timelines
• Assess potential risks and develop and implement comprehensive mitigating actions
• Oversee the implementation of project plans, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule
• Drive accountability towards project milestones, monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments to stay on track
• Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and expectations
• Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are controlled

About You

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience project managing IT enabled projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Hands-on experience of ERP delivery, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a manufacturing environment
• Professional certification in project management is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships cross-functionally
