About the Opportunity

This role involves leading and managing design projects from tender to completion, working closely with stakeholders and design team personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage design projects throughout the lifecycle
  • Co-ordinate design team personnel
  • Deal effectively with stakeholders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project costs and budget plans
  • Prepare tender submissions
  • Manage project programme and design supervision
  • Review design drawings and manage RFI schedules
  • Co-operate with internal departments for ISO procedures
  • Travel to site for design meetings

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Proficient in MS Project, Teams, Excel, Word, and email
  • Electrical background required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong project management IT skills
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Experience in large-scale utility projects preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
