About the Opportunity

The Project Manager will lead civils projects along with operations team. The role ensures projects are safely delivered on time and to budget.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage a project that delivers the objectives required to meet or exceed the KPI targets.
  • Provide direction and lead your project team – inclusive of sub-contractors.
  • Determine the resource requirements for the completion of all works throughout the project term.
  • Manage productivity, assign roles, tasks and responsibilities required for the successful completion of the project work in accordance with planning, specifications and requirements.
  • Take ownership of the commercial aspects of the contract / project and ensure the project meets with budget requirements.
  • Identify ways to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work.
  • Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you.
  • Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental and quality policies, procedures and company policies.

About You

Experience Required:
Previous project management experience in similar industry
Proven track record of experience within the Civils industry in a fast-paced volume driven environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment
Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management or the equivalent
Sound knowledge of all HSA regulations
Good communication, people management and leadership skills
Relevant or similar experience within the Civils sector
Ability to contribute technical knowledge to proposals and reports
Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office & MS Teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand, manage and deliver KPI’s
Ability to lead, motivate and manage a large diverse team
Commercially focused and aware
Innovative, creative and proactive with a solution-oriented approach
Flexibility in line with business requirements
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Full, clean driving licence
