Project Coordinator

About the Opportunity

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating all on-site commissioning activities, ensuring works are delivered in line with project milestones and contractual requirements. This role involves supporting and coordinating internal design activities in partnership with the Design and CAD Departments, reporting directly to the Project Department. Collaboration with Contract Managers and the Commissioning Manager is essential to guarantee proper sequencing of BMS activities within the project program.

Given the dynamic nature of the BMS and construction sectors, the project coordinator will monitor progress, update schedules daily, and make adjustments as needed to maintain project momentum. A key responsibility includes contributing to the development and refinement of the company’s scheduling processes. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with regular engagement across multiple teams within the company. Responsibilities

• Own the schedule: Plan, coordinate, and monitor commissioning activities to meet project milestones and contractual obligations.
• Keep projects on track: Continuously track progress, update schedules, and provide clear performance reports.
• Support design integration: Coordinate internal design activities and forecasting with the Design, CAD, and Project Departments.
• Drive innovation: Refine scheduling processes, identify improvements, and support the rollout of new tools.

About You

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or project coordination
• Experience in BMS or related construction/engineering sector is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools such as MS Project or equivalent software
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes
• An eye for innovation and a curiosity to explore new tools and processes for efficiency
