Project Manager (Medical Devices)

Location & Work Mode:

Based in Galway, Ireland
Permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager will lead various projects, including:

• Product or technology development
• Moderate-sized site transfers/acquisitions
• Acting as a site representative for broader global projects

Responsibilities

• Lead medium/large cross-functional teams
• Manage technical challenges, risks, and solutions in technology application and product development
• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and budgets
• Build team ownership and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
• Follow applicable project roadmaps (e.g., NPI, product transfer)
• Represent Operations in phase reviews and ensure adherence to policies
• Conduct business reviews and maintain project documentation (e.g., minutes, metrics)

About You

Skills & Requirements:

Essential:

• Strong experience managing large, complex, cross-functional or multisite projects
• Leadership in change and project management
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills

Education:

Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science, Software, or Manufacturing)
5+ years of project management in Operations or New Product Development
Medical device experience preferred

Desirable:

• Level 9 Master’s degree or Project Management qualification
