David L. Pells is an internationally recognised leader in the field of professional project management with more than 35 years of experience on a wide variety of programmes and projects. He is Managing Editor of the PM World Journal and Executive Director at the PM World Library. He is also president of PM World Services, a U.S. firm providing high-level PM advisory services for major government programmes. David has been an active professional leader in the United States since the 1980s, serving on the board of directors of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) on two occasions. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM) in the UK, Project Management Associates (PMA – the national PM society of India) and the Russian Project Management Association SOVNET.
Miles has over 30 years of experience on a variety of projects in the UK, Eastern Europe and Russia. His PM experience includes defence, major IT projects, decommissioning of nuclear reactors, nuclear security, rail and business projects for the UK Government and EU. Past Chair and Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM), Miles is also a former president and chair of the International Project Management Association (IPMA®). He is currently Director of PMI’s Global Accreditation Centre and the Chair of the ISO committee developing new international standards for Project Management and for Program/Portfolio Management.
Brigitte is acting President of Project Management Austria. She is also Chair of the Board of Directors of GAPPS (Global Alliance for Project Performance Standards), leads through IPMA® Certifications as International Assessor on a global scale. As Managing Director of BSConsulting, she advises national and international corporations, organisations and individuals on a wide range of topics. Brigitte fulfilled various functions within the IPMA®, including four years as Vice President for Certification. From 2009 to 2010, she acted as the organisation’s first female President.
Adesh is President of PM Guru, Inc. (USA), and Honorary President of Project Management Associates India. He is a past president and Chairman of the International Project Management Association (IPMA®). Adesh has addressed or trained over 50,000 people worldwide, made over 40 keynote presentations, is the author of the book “New Dimensions in Project Management” (1992), and has authored over 50 articles on project management. He is also Honorary Chairman of the China Project Management Committee (CPMC), the first non-Chinese to enjoy such a privilege.
