Mike’s presentation – Great Project Managers -  describes how to become a great project manager and identifies a list of top factors associated with such individuals.

A central theme is that great project managers have mastered the basics, and have the discipline to adhere to them.

It defines great project management by telling one of the most compelling seagoing expeditions of all time. This dovetails perfectly with the speaker following Mike, who is Frank Nugent author,  Shackleton expert  and one of Ireland’s foremost expedition

This presentation draws on recently published results of studies and research about what top project managers know and do, why their projects succeed or fail, and their project manager competencies.
