HR PMO Project Manager

Key responsibilities for this role include:

* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
* Lead project teams in executing project activities according to the project plan, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans in collaboration with the project team.
* Manage project stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
* Assess and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder approval. Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders, addressing conflicts and issues promptly.
* Develop and implement comprehensive transition plans in case of organizational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, or restructuring. Coordinate with senior leadership, HR, and relevant stakeholders to understand the objectives and requirements of the transition. Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with the transition process and develop strategies to mitigate them
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of the transition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to workforce transitions, including employee rights and obligations.
* Facilitate knowledge transfer and documentation of best practices to ensure continuity of business processes and operations. Conduct post-transition evaluations to assess the effectiveness of transition plans and identify lessons learned for future transitions.
* Allocate resources effectively to ensure project activities are completed on time and within budget.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance project management effectiveness and efficiency. Proactively address conflicts and issues within the project team or with stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, IT, or related field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
* PMP certification required, Six Sigma Accreditations are a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a PMO environment. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying creative solutions to challenges.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and project management software tools.
* Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing in English.
* Knowledge of additional languages (i.e., French) is a plus.
