About the Opportunity

Assistant Project Manager | Kildare, Ireland
€50,000-€70,000 (doe) + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension + Additional Benefits

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor on a major high-tech development based in Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of Ireland’s flagship construction projects, gaining exposure to large-scale, complex builds with a company known for delivering landmark developments across Ireland and mainland Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of the project to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Liaise closely with the design team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Oversee procurement, scheduling, and allocation of resources as required.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.

About You

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer or Assistant Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery processes, site management, and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in project reporting and managing subcontractor relationships.
