Assistant Project Manager – Water

Responsibilities

• Promote Mace's value of safety first
• Ensure quality systems are suitably managed
• Develop knowledge of project budgets and highlight risks
• Develop effective relationships with design and wider consultant teams

About You

You will need to have experience in contract and commercial management desirable. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyze problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions. Demonstrable experience of Portfolio and/or Programme management and delivery of large programmes/projects. Relevant third-level qualification and or accreditation in Project Management, Civil Engineering or Construction. Demonstrated people management ability, proactive development, motivation and engagement of staff. Experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable. Driving license and vehicle desirable. Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.

Eligibility

Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements. Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job. Experience in developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
