Commercial Manager / Project Manager

About the Opportunity

AtkinsRéalis is one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our multidisciplinary team working on infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support mobilisation of key contracts, commercially with robust processes.
  • Negotiate with customers and supply chain.
  • Deliver robust commercial solutions to all our bids.
  • Support PMs on complex projects to manage change.
  • Adhere to company policies and processes.
  • Develop Early Warnings, Change Notices, and Claims.
  • Resolve disputes and contractual interpretation issues.
  • Assist with management of Construction contracts.
  • Deliver the pre and post Contract opportunity and risk process including mitigation of risk.
  • Commercially support the internal project governance stagegates.

About You

The successful candidate should have relevant experience in project/contract management, possess a Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field, and hold Chartered status (CEng, MRICS or equivalent). Additionally, the candidate should have proven experience working in a consultancy environment and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Eligibility

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Public Works Contracts (GCCC) and experience in negotiating commercial settlements. Knowledge of industry contracts such as NEC / COE1 is desirable, along with experience in dealing with bespoke client contracts and conciliations.
