Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

ProSource have been retained exclusively by a leading Electrical Contractor to assist them in building their team in Dublin due to securing a number of major projects. Due to continuous expansion based in an increased workload they are currently recruiting an Electrical Project Manager with Data Centre experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to site in Dublin.

Responsibilities & Key Criteria for the Role:

* Degree/ Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
* 5+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractors
* Background in large scale, high head count sites
* Excellent working knowledge of latest electrical regulations and certification standards
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
* Have good spoke and written communication skills
* Be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate
* Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team
* Experience in QA/QC site protocols
* Excellent IT skills essential

Candidates that hold the following will be at an advantage:

* Testing and inspecting experience
* Data Centre experience
* The successful candidate should be hard working, self-motivated as well as being able to work as part of a team.
* Degree in Electrical or Building Service Engineering is an advantage but not required
