Finance Project Manager (Tech)

About the Opportunity

Barden have been engaged exclusively to identify a Finance Project Manager for a key employer here in Cork. The business is undertaking significant system enhancement projects across Finance and operations in the coming years and you’ll be responsible for managing these projects in line with the strategic objectives of the Finance Department and the business as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Play a lead role in global project management, working within the Finance Department and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and timescales
• Supporting key stakeholders in the business and finance leaders in implementation of new processes
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial requirements to detailed project plans, key milestones, and deliverables to support successful implementation and system adoption
• Responsible for all stages of projects from design through testing and post ‘go live’ support
• Serve as the key liaison between Finance and IT teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions and that project milestones are met
• Collaborate closely with project teams and cross-functional business partners to develop detailed change management, communication, transition, and testing plans for smooth project execution and adoption
• Be a promoter of change management

Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

SAP experience is a plus in a multinational environment

Highly organized individual who has the ability to multi-task

Finance qualification is an advantage
