IT Project Manager – Fintech / Financial Services / Cryptocurrency

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Compliance teams to manage technical requirements.
• Ensure alignment with EU regulatory frameworks and IT security best practices.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing updates on project progress and risks.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary.
• Drive agile methodologies, ensuring teams follow best practices in Scrum/Kanban.
• Oversee vendor management, ensuring third-party solutions align with company requirements.

About You

7+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or financial services. Strong background in managing IT infrastructure, software development, or digital transformation projects. Experience leading teams in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment. Solid understanding of blockchain technology, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with EU financial regulations, particularly those related to crypto assets and fintech. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills in English.

Eligibility

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience in digital asset custody, crypto exchanges, or DeFi platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC II Type I / II, GDPR, and other security/compliance frameworks.
