Responsibilities:Successfully delivers programmes of high complexity, leading by example, being visible and accessible, and setting the tone and pace for the programClearly communicates engagement goals and success criteria, clearly specifies required outcomeSets clear priorities, maintains focus upon the critical pathEstablishing a coherent, supportive, and effective working relationship with all stakeholdersEnsuring that we operate in a contractually compliant manner throughout; similarly ensuring that the client meets their obligationsEstablishing effective and proportionate governance and controlsEnsuring that a clear and objective assessment of programme performance is regularly, clearly, and accurately reportedUnderstanding and safeguarding the critical pathAnticipating and mitigating risk, resolving exceptions wherever they ariseMaintaining focus upon benefits tracking and realisation throughout deliveryMeeting or exceeding commitments regarding programme success criteriaTakes ownership of, and leads client and subcontractor engagementsBeing the ‘figure head’ for the programmeEngaging client, and subcontractor stakeholders, building and nurturing positive, sustaining relationships at all levels of the programmeCommunicating effectively and influencing positive outcomesGaining insight in respect of client culture and values, adapting their own and team engagement with the clientUnderstanding the client business caseDirecting and engaging the programme team to optimise client satisfactionExemplifying and role-modelling the Codec valuesApplying effective team and people management skills, to construct, shape, engage, and optimise performant programme teamsEngaging the team, engendering trust and confidence, building a positive team cultureCoaching, guiding, and directing Senior Project Managers and PMO LeadsInfluencing, organising, and directing the programme teamBeing willing to confront and challenge poor performance and encourage team members to contribute ideas
