Multitude Bank, regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority, specialises in wholesale banking. Responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio management activities including tracking collateral data, collecting company financials, and maintaining related reports.
- Monitor financial covenants and conduct regular trend analysis to assess portfolio performance and flag early warnings.
- Lead initiatives to automate portfolio monitoring and reporting processes to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive client performance reports to support sales initiatives and identify credit risks.
- Conduct profitability analysis on clients and consolidate results for strategic portfolio review.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and communicate these insights to Investment Managers.
- Perform detailed macroeconomic and industry trend analyses to support strategic decision-making.
About You
Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in portfolio management or credit risk within financial services.
- Proven ability managing institutional loan portfolios (€5M–€30M ticket size).
- Strong expertise in covenant monitoring, financial statement analysis, and cash flow evaluation.
- Experience in preparing performance reports and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Advanced analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in banking and risk management.
Nice-to-have
- Master’s degree or certifications (CFA, FRM).
- Experience working in remote, cross-border financial institutions.
