Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead the preparation and delivery of regulatory price control submissions. These submissions are part of a recurring regulatory cycle that determines allowed revenues, operational and capital expenditure, and return on investment.

Responsibilities
- Lead development of the strategic approach and regulatory engagement plan.
- Coordinate performance reviews of the current control period and support the development of the future plan.
- Oversee financial and operational modelling including:
- Return on capital calculations
- Operating and capital expenditure forecasts
- Consolidated tariff plan
- Prepare and deliver submission documents to the regulator.
- Manage the response process to regulator queries and participate in negotiations.
- Ensure alignment with strategic objectives like decarbonisation and innovation targets.
- Manage the development of performance assessments for the prior control period.
- Coordinate modelling of required revenue plans including ongoing infrastructure investment and market operator support.
- Lead benchmarking analysis against peer organisations.
- Prepare cost of debt submissions, ensure consistent financial narratives across regions.
- Engage with the regulator and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely responses to feedback and information requests.
Key Deliverables
- Strategic narrative supporting continued investment and innovation.
- Detailed investment plans covering maintenance, growth, energy transition initiatives.
- Financial models including lookback and forward-looking CAPEX/OPEX scenarios.
- Regulatory documentation for multiple jurisdictions.
- Internal communications to maintain engagement/coordination across project contributors.
Eligibility
Requirements:
- 6+ years’ as a Project Manager, ideally in a regulated industry/advisory capacity.
- Proven experience managing complex regulatory projects with cross-functional input.
- Understanding of regulated revenue frameworks, capital planning, and tariff design.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance and economic principles.
- Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience dealing with regulators in Ireland/UK (or similar jurisdictions) preferred.
