Project Manager

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (with construction experience) to join our successful team at Portakabin in Dublin. You will oversee and ensure that all Projects are delivered in accordance with all appropriate H&S regulations and good practice.

Responsibilities

• Take direct responsibility where appropriate for large and complex projects as defined in the project structure.
• In conjunction with appropriate Commercial Staff, coordinate and implement Design Freeze, managing variations, ensuring that Design Freeze process is implemented on all projects undertaken.
• Ensure that suitably detailed Gannt charts or other appropriate projects plans are in place for all projects undertaken within the region and that plans are updated on a regular basis to ensure relevance throughout the project.
• Liaise with Senior Project Manager to forecast current and future workload.
• Liaise with Health and Safety leads and Safety Champions to enhance our safe management of contractors and sites.

About You

Essential Criteria

• Proven Project management experience.
• Project Management qualification, preferably PMQ.
• Proven experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex/high value building projects
• Work productively in a fast paced, high-pressured environment
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of financial control in delivering projects including negotiation of terms and final accounts
• Strong all round technical knowledge including Building Regulations, HTM's and HBN's
• Makes rational judgements from the available information and analysis
• Full Irish Driving License
