About the Opportunity
As a key member of the Engineering Project Delivery Team, this contract position is responsible for leading the execution of strategic, multi-disciplinary capital projects within the site. The role ensures timely, cost-effective project delivery aligned with the organization’s safety, quality, and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of strategic engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Scope new projects, estimate costs, obtain capital approvals, and manage budgets.
- Own and manage project schedules, reporting, and risk management.
- Manage internal and external project resources.
- Oversee project interfaces across departments and with third-party vendors.
- Ensure robust coordination across Design, Construction, Commissioning & Qualification phases.
- Ensure full project documentation is completed per GDP (Good Documentation Practice) requirements.
- Adhere to organizational Change Management Procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct retrospective project reviews and lessons learned exercises.
About You
Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders. Organize and lead project meetings. Actively participate in or lead cross-functional project teams. Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to drive project success. Serve as a strategic partner to all departments.
Eligibility
Ensure safe execution of all assigned activities and adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) practices. Maintain compliance with corporate, cGMP, and regulatory requirements. Ensure all engineering and site procedures are followed. Support business needs by prioritizing and scheduling key activities. Provide assistance during external site visits and audits as required. Support ongoing initiatives across Operations, Quality, MSAT, Facilities, and Validation teams.

About Company
Work closely with internal site departments: Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality, MSAT, Commissioning/Qualification, and Training. Liaise with external partners, including vendors, suppliers, and other network sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related Science discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years industry experience, including:
- At least 3 years in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.
- At least 3 years in a project management capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Experience in delivering projects in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of API manufacturing processes.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with SAP, LIMS, or other business systems.
- Training in Six Sigma, Kepner-Tregoe, or similar problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working in a multinational engineering team environment.
