Project Manager (Cards Experience)

About the Opportunity

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Project Manager (Cards experience).

Responsibilities

• Maintain an appropriate project governance structure and effective communication processes for all assigned projects in Cards Change Delivery
• Follow the Banks standard project management framework, setting out the reporting, control and escalation mechanisms
• Manage project issues, risks, dependencies and change control within agreed processes
• Manage project budgets on behalf of the Executive Sponsor/Cards Change Delivery Lead
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action
• Co-ordinate and foster teamwork and manage knowledge transfer within the project
• Ensure project deliverables are of appropriate quality, on time, and within budget
• Communicate with stakeholders and develop change management/training plan for the business

About You

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proven track record in delivering wide-ranging projects in a timely manner
• Good working knowledge of the Cards business within Financial Services
• In-depth knowledge of project processes, software development cycle, compliance, regulatory standards
• Strong familiarity with quality management concepts and their application
• Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE II)
• Project Management certifications (Agile, Scrum master etc)
• Project delivery experience
