About the Opportunity
This role involves leading and managing design projects from tender to completion, working closely with stakeholders and design team personnel.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design projects throughout the lifecycle
- Co-ordinate design team personnel
- Deal effectively with stakeholders
- Develop, implement, and monitor project costs and budget plans
- Prepare tender submissions
- Manage project programme and design supervision
- Review design drawings and manage RFI schedules
- Co-operate with internal departments for ISO procedures
- Travel to site for design meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of experience
- Proficient in MS Project, Teams, Excel, Word, and email
- Electrical background required
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong project management IT skills
- Experience managing client relationships
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Experience in large-scale utility projects preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
