Responsibilities

  • Defining Project Scope, Goals, and Objectives
  • Technical Clarifications: Act as the central point for resolving all technical queries
  • Budget Development: Create accurate budget allocations for ATS labour and materials
  • Schedule Planning: Oversee the development of detailed project schedules
  • Project Initiation: Lead the Initial Project Delivery Plan process
  • Resource Management: Ensure adequate resource allocation across all project tasks
  • Systems Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in ERP systems
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster close cooperation with relevant departments
  • Team Selection and Oversight: Identify, select, and manage project teams
  • Resource Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed resource plans and schedules
  • Absence and Conflict Management: Proactively manage the impact of unplanned absences
  • Customer Site Coordination: Oversee and manage customer site entry requirements
  • Project Execution: Implement project plans effectively
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication with project teams and stakeholders
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet ATS and customer quality standards
  • Project Closure: Ensure all project deliverables completed, reviewed, and formally accepted by the customer

Eligibility

Education: Post-secondary college diploma or university degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering. Completion of, or active progress toward, the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset.

Experience: Proven experience managing automation projects, involving multi-disciplinary teams. Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills in managing complex project design and construction teams. Minimum of three years in a lead role on diverse, multi-discipline projects across various markets.
