Project Manager – Medtech Sector – Galway

About the Opportunity

PM Group is an employee-owned, international project delivery firm with a team of 3,600+ people. We are world leaders in the pharma, food, medtech, and mission critical sectors. We are now looking to appoint a Project Manager for our medtech client site in Galway.

This role will be based at the client site and will have the support of our Project Management Department at Dublin Head Office. It also includes a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout
  • Report to the Projects Programme Manager and responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of strategic projects
  • Project execution focusing on safety, schedule, and budget adherence
  • Manage cross functional teams for Manufacturing Facility and Processing projects
  • Manage overall financial performance of engineering projects
  • Contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and development
  • Risk management and action plans to mitigate risk
  • Adherence to safe working practices and environmental health & safety requirements

Eligibility

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline- Level 8 desirable
  • Experience in managing cross functional teams for Manufacturing Facility and processing projects
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage and execute projects from initiation to completion
  • Full project lifecycle experience
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Demonstrated record of on-time delivery
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, CMMS systems, SAP)
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
