About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company in South Dublin, is seeking a Project Manager – Tech Transfer to coordinate the new product introduction (NPI) of a four-step process into their facility. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, creating, managing, and monitoring the project schedule to ensure timely delivery. They will also oversee the project budget, providing regular status updates to both on-site and off-site stakeholders. This role involves proactive risk management, including risk identification, mitigation planning, resource allocation, and problem-solving, to support the successful execution of the project.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop detailed project plans, including interdependencies, timelines and key milestone tracker for the project.
- Planning and overseeing the execution of a large (4-step) scale NPI manufacturing project within the API facility onsite.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans for all projects, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk mitigation strategies are integrated into project plans and executed effectively.
- Regularly communicate identified risks to the Tech Transfer manager and senior leadership.
- Ensuring projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and timelines.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Production, CAPEX Projects, Finance, quality control, Supply Chain and Global ownership functions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve cost-effective and timely project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Lead PM roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in project management processes and procedures.
- Understanding of GMP procedures and practices.
- Strong Knowledge of API processes preferred.
