About the Opportunity
This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi-cultural environment. We also offer relocation support.
Responsibilities
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion and monitor the quality of the delivered services.
- Establish and manage trustful working relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth collaboration and managing organizational change.
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications, industry standards, time and budgetary contractual commitments and propose mitigation or corrective actions as appropriate.
- Ensure documentation of the project and its deliverables are maintained and up-to-date and contribute to periodic activity reporting, dashboards and annual reports.
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditure and contribute to the elaboration of the annual budget and its follow-up.
- Adapt and manage existing and new subcontractor contracts and prepare terms of reference for calls for tender, as needed and in own domain of expertise.
- Seek continuous improvement for all activities; report on “lessons learned” and integrate new knowledge and experience in subsequent activities.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations in own domain of expertise to contribute to the design of appropriate solutions.
About You
University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in engineering, architecture or a related subject. Project Management Certification, PM2, Prince2 or PMP/PMI would be an advantage. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within or for a public sector or institutional environment including the management of large-scale fit-out, or capital investment projects.
Eligibility
Good knowledge of English and/or French (**) with a good command of the other. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
