About the Opportunity

Senior Project Manager position available to manage challenging Civils / MIECA projects in the water sector. The role involves overseeing contracts from pre-commencement through to operational handover, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Key requirements for the role include high levels of motivation, resilience, strong technical and organizational skills, proven project management experience, commercial acumen, and design knowledge.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing contracts for successful delivery and fostering a team culture within the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee build only or design and build contracts for public and private clients
• Lead a project team including design staff, project staff, sub-contractors, and support staff
• Support senior management in meeting contract objectives
• Manage project control, engineering management, and construction
• Liaise with internal and external design teams, providing commercial and technical guidance
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Prepare accurate and timely status reports
• Consistently deliver on project objectives for financial performance and overall project delivery

About You

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• 8+ years of water and wastewater industry contracting experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of water and wastewater design and operational processes
• Successful track record in delivering multiple infrastructure contracts
• Highly motivated with the ability to manage all aspects of design and build contracts
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Preferably a Chartered Engineer
• Competent in using Microsoft Project programming software
• Fluent in written and spoken English
