Catalyx is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and work for our newly established team who are based on our customer site in Cork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of strategic Engineering projects on time, on budget & in accordance with all project & business Safety & Quality goals.
  • Scope new projects, estimate costs, secure Capital approval & manage project budgets
  • Accountable for project schedule, progress reporting & Risk Management
  • Project Resource Management
  • Update & influence management and project stakeholders as required
  • Coordination of project interfaces with other projects and departments
  • Coordination of and interfaces with third parties (suppliers, customers, service providers, etc.)
  • Oversee Design, Construction and Commissioning and Qualification activities throughout project lifecycle.
  • Ensure completion of project documentation per GDP requirements
  • Completion of projects in accordance with Management Procedures

Eligibility

Third level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science. At least 8 years experience in industry of which not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry & 3 years in a project management role. Experience of delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment. API manufacturing experience. Qualification in Project Management. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience of SAP, LIM’s and/or other business systems. 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training. Experience of working within an Engineer team in a multinational corporate environment.
