ServiceNow Project Manager/ SCRUM Master

About the Opportunity

Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and Grant Thornton Ireland (GT) are seeking a Project Manager / SCRUM Master to support the ServiceNow team in delivering enterprise-wide solutions that enhance IT service management, operations, and automation. This role will be instrumental in driving Agile delivery, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring that ServiceNow initiatives align with business priorities and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SCRUM Master for the ServiceNow team, facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting Agile best practices.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of ServiceNow projects and enhancements across various IT domains.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Track and report on sprint progress, team velocity, and project milestones.
  • Identify and remove impediments for timely delivery of features and integrations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for dependencies and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and documentation standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

About You

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in an Agile/SCRUM Master role.
  • Experience managing ServiceNow projects or working closely with ServiceNow development teams.
  • Certified SCRUM Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and project management principles.
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile Development.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.

Eligibility

Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least two days per week, either at a GT office. Experience with professional services firms and working within an IT organization supported by a managed IT services provider is preferred.
