Project Manager:

My client, a leading construction services provider is looking to hire a Project Manager to join a core department within the organisation.

* Location: Munster – Limerick will be the core location with some travel nationwide required
* Onsite role with flexitime options and occasional work from home but not a remote working opportunity.
* Salary and Benefits: Up to €75000 per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package
* Start Date: Immediate or as soon as available

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation with a major presence in Ireland in a role that is core to the business and highly impactful. You will have genuine project ownership as well as the opportunity to work on a diverse array of projects. The role reports into the Regional Operational Director and provides input to various leadership level stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

* Produce all records relating to the day-to-day project operation.
* Manage the production of client and organisational reports as required.
* Liaise with the client to ensure programmes of work are carried out to agreed standards (Quality, Safety, Environmental etc).
* Manage liaison with client on all project matters in assigned operational area.
* Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers to agree final accounts.
* Ensure that systems are in place to record the day-to-day contract operation.
* Ensure labour resources are available to meet contract operation requirements.
* Budget control, materials management and valuations.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Comply with and manage operations in accordance with the companies HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure good standards of administration and compliance and efficient use of resources.
* Build client contacts and business opportunities.
* Preparation of internal projections, cost and value reports on a regular basis.
* Preparation and management of subcontractors, suppliers and material procurement schedules.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

* Relevant Bachelors Degree or Masters level qualification.
* 5 years relevant project management focused experience.
* Construction industry experience or experience in a highly similar sector.
* Strong experience of risk management in construction or a highly related industry sector.
* Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Desirable:

* A recognized project management qualification.
* Experience developing and delivering new business/project opportunities.
