Project Manager (IT/ CyberSec)- Fixed Term Contract

About the Company

My client is a uniquely positioned Operator of Essential Services in Ireland. As part of its ongoing programme of work to enhance its cyber-resilience, it wishes to recruit a Project Manager to manage and coordinate a number of initiatives.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for successful delivery of component projects and initiatives. This will include:

* Developing detailed plans and ensuring that projects and tasks are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.
* Coordinating resources across different departments and with third parties, including suppliers
* Leading and managing the risk, quality and progress of projects to organisational standards.
* Developing a reporting framework for projects and reporting on an ongoing basis.
* Coordinating changes in line with change management processes and standards.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on Project Manager, able to contribute to certain tasks as well as coordinating with others.

Key Responsibilities

* Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar Project Management role, with a proven track record of on-time delivery of projects.
* A background in IT, and in particular IT Infrastructure (Networking, Windows / AD, Unix/Linux systems)
* A working knowledge and understanding of cyber security standards and techniques
* Experience working in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects, such as ISO accreditation, GDPR implementation, NIS-D compliance
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organisational skills which are required to fulfil the role.

Experience/Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience with one or more of the following:

* Experience working in GxP organisations
* Knowledge of NIS-D/NIST or other cyber security standards and frameworks.
* Experience working in a public sector organisation
* Experience working in a healthcare organisation
* Experience of public sector procurement, including tender preparation
* Experience of cloud technologies and solutions.
* Experience of audit management
