Solar Project Manager

Contract

12 Month – extension probable

Multiple location across Republic of Ireland

Start: ASAP

CMC support Irish renewable energy project with engineering support. The project support comes in the form of long term contracts, CMC only look to operate with long term contracts that provide stability to our engineers.

Due to a recent project win we are looking for a Project Manager with experience on Solar PV project (ideally in Ireland) to join our projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field

• 5 years or more delivering commercial solar PV projects (Irish experience preferred)

• Battery, EV, Microgrid experience desirable

• Ability to be able to communicate clearly, jargon-free for clients

• Strong management skills

• Organised and technically knowledgeable

• Good at report writing

The key responsibilities:

• Working with all stakeholders (client, contractors, managing agents, regulatory bodies etc) to ensure the successful national and European roll-out of commercial PV

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements

• Liaise with contractors at all project stages

• Managing a team for site audits as projects develop to ensure project milestones are met

• Monitor contractor quality during design, construction and ongoing operation

• Ensure system is fully operational and signed off

• Review contractor O&M documentation

• Attend client and contractor progress meetings

• Attend client sales presentations

• QA technical documentation including feasibility reports, specifications and other technical documentation

• Management of project progress tracker

• PV design and feasibility report writing
