We are currently recruiting Project and Senior Project Engineers to work as key members of the Buildings & Infrastructure Team.

About The Team
RPS Buildings & Infrastructure sector provides project management and technical excellence in design, appraisal and construction of residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and educational buildings for public and private Clients in Ireland and overseas.The successful candidates will be joining a recognised leader in the delivery of consultancy services in Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Structural design of buildings
* Engagement with Clients, Design Teams, and LA’s for project delivery
* Manage design output to meet specified quality and agreed timelines and costs
* Assist in procurement of new work in the Residential / Commercial / Industrial sector
* Construction monitoring and reporting
* Comply fully with RPS procedures and quality systems
Essential Qualifications And Skills
* A Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8) as a minimum; a Masters qualification is advantageous
* Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in the structural design of buildings
* Chartered (or near chartered status)
* Knowledge and experience in using Eurocodes
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Technical proficiency and experience of structural analysis and modelling packages including Robot, Tekla, Tedds, Masterseries etc.
* Strong interpersonal, social skills with the ability to manage other design personnel
* A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
Desired Attributes
* Track record of working on projects in a collaborative Level 2 BIM environment
* Track record of working with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, surveyors and contractors
* C&S Technical Advisor experience
* Design experience in liquid retaining structures
* Knowledge of Building Regulations, TGD’s, Building Control (Amendment) Regulations and Health & Safety (Construction) Regulations
* Contract document knowledge and experience of the Irish and/or UK markets
* Experience in structural surveying and assessments
* Project management experience on building design projects
