Information Technology Project Manager

ICT PROJECT MANAGER- DAILY RATE CONTRACT – GALWAY / HYBRID

Are you an IT Project Manager looking for a New Challenge? We are working with a Public Sector Client to find an IT Project Manager for a Daily Rate Contract Role.

What you will be doing

* Delivering and implementing the eMarketplace project within time and budget.
* Working with relevant stakeholders at a senior level to define and develop services which meet their business needs and expectations.
* Managing third party partner and supplier contracts for the delivery of products, projects and services.
* Leading, managing and developing a team of assigned project staff members, which may include one or more managers responsible for delivery of individual services as well as technical and customer service staff.
* Managing the team to ensure that specified services are delivered against service descriptions and service specifications.

What skills you need

* Five years’ experience working in a similar role.
* Five years’ experience of providing leadership in large organisation(s) with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Experience of successfully implementing IT projects in large and complex organisation, within budget and defined timelines.
* Experience of working with formal methodologies (PRINCE2 ,ITIL or equivalent) and other aspects of current best practice for the delivery of IT projects and services.
* Working knowledge of IT Architecture for finance enterprise systems (e.g. Agresso Milestone 7 (Update 6) or equivalent)
