Credit Controller

Job Description

Overview of the role:

As the Financial Accountant, You will ensure the efficient running of the portfolio and the on-time delivery of accurate monthly financial reports.

By working closely with the Finance Manager and Operations team the Financial Accountant will have a great opportunity to learn the Waste and Water business and assist with reporting and system improvements.

Duties of the Role include:

* Review balance sheet reconciliations, assist internal control and external audit
* Understand, identify and escalate any financial risks found in tasks performed.
* Monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, long term plans.
* Proactively provide regular feedback to the Finance Manager. Request assistance when required. Collaborative approach.
* Strong in highlighting key information.
* Management of Working Capital and assisting the team in the management of Credit Control and Treasury Function.
* Communication of key performance information to operations.
* To assist the General Managers with key financial information.
* Assist with New Business/Investco analysis when required.
* Drive technology advancements within Finance.
* Adherence with company code of conduct

Required skills for this role:

* ACA,ACCA,CIMA,CP or equivalent.
* Strong IT and systems skills (with a focus on Financial Systems and controls)
* Strong Excel and analytical experience
* Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Experience with Workday financial systems.
* Knowledge of Google applications is desirable.
* Ability to interact with staff at all levels including senior management.
* Positive attitude
