Senior Project Manager

Design Build Search is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client based in Co. Limerick.

Our client is a national consultancy firm who has been delivering consultancy services to the real estate, property and construction industry since the late 90's.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team, managing large scale construction projects, primarily base-build and fit-out, in a variety of sectors such as residential, commercial, and retail.

Responsibilities:

* Overall delivery of projects, in compliance with company procedures
* Supervise, control and resource projects to ensure successful execution
* Close-out/practical completion of project and documentation
* Oversee consultant procurement and employment within public and private works
* Act as employer’s agent for administration of consultants and appointments
* Coordinate the development budgets with inputs from the project team for client approval
* Develop and facilitate effective communication between teams
* Monitor cost expenditures within the parameters of the development budget
* fulfil all contractual commitments towards clients
* Establish a professional and trusting relationship with the client

Requirements:

* 7 years Consultancy Project Management experience
* Degree in Project Management/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Competent and consistent planner (MS Project and/or Powerpoint)
* Public and private contract experience
* Experience with construction & design methodologies/[rocesses
* Good negotiator and influencer
* Effective leader with the ability to be a team player
