Project Manager Tech Transfer - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract

Key Duties And Responsibilities

* Accountable for meeting key project deliverables for safety, financial management, schedule, resourcing and risk management across the project portfolio
* Develop an integrated schedule and detailed resourcing plan for the technology transfer program for the commercial assets identified for the project
* Develop the project portfolio (charter) structure and liaise directly with the project leads across all areas to ensure charters are in place and aligned with the overall delivery of successful PPQ campaigns for all products to be transferred to Dublin
* Create strategic partnership with the wider project scheduling team to ensure all activities associated with start-up and technical transfer are built into integrated schedule with clear linkage to predecessors and dependencies
* Lead a team of project managers as required providing support and coaching.
* Accountable for strict adherence to project stage-gate principles for managing the life-cycle of projects while ensuring projects are compliant with good engineering practices, regulations and codes.
* Concept and Business Case development in collaboration with project Sponsor and End user, working with the end user to understand and clarify end user requirements, develop scope, cost and budget estimates and present to governance for approval

Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Required

* A degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Automation/Process Engineering or science discipline with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Comprehensive understanding of project management methodology and best practices including scope development, design development, budget adherence, risk management and project closeout
* Excellent communication and presentation skills and vast experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders and partner functions
* Experience using SAP (preferable) and budgeting tools
* PMP ® or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status – Desirable
* Biologic Manufacturing site experience – Required
