Director of Project Management

Design Build Search is seeking a Director of Project Management on behalf of our client based in Dublin City.

Our client is a national consultancy firm who has been delivering consultancy services to the real estate, property and construction industry since the late 90's.

This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and regulations.

It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team, managing prestigous construction projects in Ireland, in a variety of sectors such as residential, commercial, and retail.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for overseeing fulfilment of all contractual commitments to clients
* Develop the brand and identity opportunities to grow the region.
* Ability to build collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
* Oversee consultant procurement and deployment within a public and private sector framework
* Monitor and report on progress, cost and expenses of projects
* Oversee close-out/practical completion of project and documentation
* Develop and maintain strong internal relationships
* Provide strong leadership with the ability to challenge to safeguard the business and achieve company objectives continuously and robustly.
* Ensure that all operations are carried out in a technically acceptable manner and conforms to all required standards.

Requirements:

* 10+ years Consultancy Project Management experience
* 7+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching professionals.
* Degree in Project Management/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Competent and consistent planner (MS Project and/or Powerpoint)
* Public and private contract experience
* Experience with construction & design methodologies/processes
* Good negotiator and influencer
* Effective leader with the ability to be a team player
